More than anything, we want to find out what’s holding you back from achieving your business goals. We’d like to fully understand your current marketing strategy, the challenges your company is facing, and most importantly, determine what we can do to help.

First up, determine what you want to achieve in 2020. Then define what will help you get there. Seeing what will get in the way is a good tactic, too!
Remember, mighty oaks from little acorns grow. So, have a clear sales goal. And target market. This is the time to plan every step that will get you there. Track every month throughout the year and plan your sales strategy. Then break it down yet further to week by week.
A good way to do this is to set realistic figures and plot your targets. This makes your goals more achievable. Don’t get carried away with fantasy figures. These do no more than set you up to fail.
It’s good to be ambitious. But silly goals will only undermine your progress.
You need to keep your motivation bubbling. This happens when you overcome challenging objectives. Not by bulldozing into ludicrously high hurdles. In planning for the year, identify areas that may need more attention. And it’s not too late to do this.
Are the necessary monies in place? Now’s the time to plan where you need to invest more/move investment over. Are the right systems and technologies in place?
Don’t fall into the common sales planning pitfall of assuming too much. We can’t stress this enough as it can sabotage your forecasting.
All your targets must be founded on authentic information. (As far as possible!) This helps you focus your time. Handle the task before you. Don't waste time addressing aspects you can’t change or influence.
If assumptions can't be avoided, make them as realistic as you can. Call on your experience from 2019. What would you change? Gather any information available to help you.
Got your sales strategy sorted? Then now’s the time to sit back and let someone else look it over. There’s nothing like a fresh pair of beadies to spot things you haven’t. Being close to something can make us overlook things obvious to others.
Take a break. Walk away and do something else for a while. Then go over your plan again. Imagine yourself at the starting post. That your confidence level is high and that you are ready for the off. Now's the time to submit it and commit to action.
