We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2017 Hampshire Venus Award in the Marketing & PR category, sponsored by bandv is Kerry Smith, Marketing Manager for the Raymond Brown Group.

The results of the inaugural 2017 Hampshire Venus Awards were announced at a winner’s ceremony and gala dinner, held at The Spark, Southampton Solent University on Saturday 11th November.

Over 350 guests including each of the fabulous finalists, as well as the sponsors of the other Venus awards, attended the evening which was full of glitz, glamour and highly inspirational speeches from successful women from across a variety of companies and industries in Hampshire.

The Marketing & PR Venus Award was presented to Kerry by bandv’s Chairman Colin Breckenridge:

“We are delighted that Kerry is the winner of this year's Hampshire Venus Awards in the Marketing & PR category and would like to offer our heartfelt congratulations.

 It has been an honour to be a sponsor of the Venus Awards for the second year running as bandv are proud to help promote the role of women in 'Marketing & PR’.

It was a fantastic evening and we would like to say a massive thanks to Tara, David and the entire Venus Team as well as the Solent University”

This year the Marketing & PR category was once again full of some extraordinary individuals and tremendous talent, but it was Kerry’s career progression through the Raymond Brown Group, from Marketing Assistant to Marketing Manager, and the story of her journey that really caught the bandv judging panel’s attention.

Kerry’s enthusiasm and passion for her role and the company is clear as well as her commitment and dedication to Raymond Brown’s ‘community initiative’ projects, which really impressed bandv.

Kerry is clearly delighted to be this year’s winner;

 “Saturday night was one of the best nights of my life and I could not be happier or prouder of what I have achieved.

This award has given me massive confidence to believe in myself and fuelled my passion to succeed within such a male dominated industry even more.”

We would like to say a huge congratulations to Kerry from all the team at bandv!
