Hampshire Sponsor launch event.jpg

On the 26th of April, it was the launch of the 2017 Hampshire Venus Awards and we couldn’t be prouder of sponsoring these very prestigious awards and recognising the array of talent in both the Marketing and PR category.

“Referred to as the Working Women’s Oscars, the Venus Awards were formed in 2009 to recognise, reward and celebrate local working women in business.  The Venus Awards began in Dorset and has since exploded into other regions across the country. Culminating with an annual National Final that truly represents the inspirational women who balance and juggle their lives relentlessly and unconditionally, who inject their communities with a sense of feminine robustness and solidity only a woman can provide.”

The Venus Awards were launched by lady called Tara Howard in 2009 to celebrate local working women in business. The awards started in Dorset and, it won’t be a surprise to you that, since then they have become a feature on the calendar in many other areas including Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. What makes these awards even more exciting is that the winners of the regional events go on to the national finals. It’s clear why these awards have been dubbed the “working women’s Oscars”, and we are very excited about being involved with them over the next year.

Nominations for the PR & Marketing category are open. If you know a woman in a PR/marketing role who is delivering amazing things for their organisation then nominate them now.
